Students can use this map to view the largest glaciers left on Earth. Many glaciers are receding over the years due to global warming. Students can interact with each glacier through pictures and videos.
This is a great idea. This has a nice commentary as well on the disappearing glaciers because students can see how far and few between they are on the map. This can be linked to a lesson on global warming or also on being environmentally conscious and aware of the world around them.
Really like this idea! I think it is super relevant and it great for kids to learn about. Super great topic for a science lesson.
