Tech Savvy Teachers

When it comes to technology, sometimes teachers may have a hard time figuring out what to do or hit a roadblock. It happens. As a teacher, we need to “roll with the punches,” meaning that when something doesn’t go right, we need to move on and not worry about it. I also chose this picture because the corgi has wheels, so it is “rolling” (with the punches).

  1. Super cute picture and I love the theme. Your post is so true because as tech savvy teachers, we definitely need to be flexible and roll with everything that is thrown our way 🙂

  2. Haha I like the idea of your post! With anything, especially with technology, it’s important that teachers remember to stay positive and ‘roll with the punches’! I love it!

  3. You’re so right! With technology, it is so easy for something to go wrong, whether the WiFi goes out or something didn’t get saved properly. Being able to roll with the punches definitely helps to keep a classroom that flows well. And your theme is very cute!

  4. Lauryn – it’s so important to roll with the punches! As teachers we always need to be flexible because our lessons, more often than not, are not going to go exactly as we planned. Whether it’s the students, the technology we’re trying to use, or whatever, we need to be able to move on quickly and “roll with the punches”.

  5. This happens so often with unfamiliar tech in a classroom! Being flexible and “rolling with the punches” is a great attitude to have with students, and showing students that mistakes happen, yet the way you move forward is how learning takes place!
